Lenovo launches Yoga Tablets in India

Lenovo is a progressive company in the field of electronics devices. The company has launched itsnew tablet computer Yoga in India. This tablet will be available in 8 inch and 10 inch screen sizes. This tablet will be running on Android operating system and 8 inch version can be used as a calling device with the help of SIM attachment facility.

The new tablet has a stand on round shaped edge which can be used in multiple ways and makes a firm grip over the tablet. The screen has a display resolution of 1280x800 pixels. The cameras available are 5 megapixel primary and 1.6 megapixels secondary.

The internal processor of the tablets is a1.2 GHz dual core processor with 1 GB RAM and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 version. It has good battery backup of 18 hrs. 3G and WIFI are available for connectivity and have a 16 GB internal storage space with expandable memory via memory card.

Lenovo Company has priced these tablet at Rs.22,999 for 8 inch version and Rs.28,999 for 10 inch version.

Jolla Smartphones will be launching with Sailfish OS on 27th November

A new operating system is going to be launched on 27th on this month. This O.S. will be named as Sailfish operating system. The smartphone Jolla will be handling this OS. The ex-employees of Nokia have developed this smartphone which will be currently on sale in Finland and priced at 399 Euros which means Rs.34,000 approx. This will be set under operation initially in Finland with the mobile operator DNA.

The Jolla smartphone has black colored front and rear has various color options. It has a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display and 5 point multi touch with corning gorilla glass 2 protection. It has 8 megapixel rear and 2 mega pixel front camera. It supports its own Sailfish applications as well as Android application.

As per the company head, this is a "to next generation" experience which uses gesture as an input and no tapping is required.

Businessman from Hyderabad taking over BlackBerry

The Fairfax founder, Mr. Prem Watsa is an Indian from Hyderabad, currently residing in Canada. He was one of the directors in BlackBerry and resigned from the job after the announcement of its disposal. People were thinking that Vatsa will definitely do something to take the company out of this loss.

Vatsa was born in 1950 in Hyderabad. He is a B.Tech in chemical engineering from IIT Madras. He did his post graduation in business administration from University of Ontario and started his company in 1985.

Today he is the biggest share holder with 10% market shares of BlackBerry.

Prem Watsa had offered 4.7 billion US dollars for acquiring the company and the board of directors had welcomed the offer too. If deal gets to the final stage, Prem Watsa will be the next owner of BlackBerry. But other companies may also show their interest in this and make out an option for the same.

No Jelly Bean any more, Android 4.4 is now KitKat

Google has shocked everyone by changing the name of its new version under Android 4 series. So Jelly Bean is not available anymore as Android 4.4 is going to be known as KitKat. Nestle is agreed upon taking the name of its most selling chocolate bar. The deal is closed without any money exchange and according to the director of Android Global Partnership John Lagerling, this deal has been finalized with no-money exchange.

Apart from this, KitKat wrappers are also in a touch of new Android version. This naming idea came in November 2012 but the final seal was given in February in Mobile World Congress, Barcelona. The previous versions have also got famous with the names of some mouth watering delights as Eclairs, Froyo, Donut, Ginger bread, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean.
