Motorola announces the Price of Moto G Smartphone


Motorola was a great mobile phone manufacturer earlier also. The company had stopped their production for a limited period. Now after the acquisition by Google, the company is planning to reenter the mobile phone market in India with the introduction of their Moto G series. The latest teaser launched by the company has a touch of Indian tradition which says "Namaste India". A logo which shows Taj Mahal as a background is published on Facebook.
As per the Amazon listing, the prices of the phone are also now disclosed. The Motorola Moto G or Motorola DVX/XT1032 (16GB) is priced 159.99 British pounds on Amazon UK listings. This becomes an approx of Rs.16,100. The list also shows”This is a UK SIM free phone” written big. This means that this price is for a factory unlocked phone. The phone will be available for sale by 14th November after its launch on 13th November.
As per the earlier leaked specifications of the phone, it would be having a 4.5 inch HD display screen with corning gorilla glass protection, Bluetooth 4.0, 8 GB internal memory, 5 mega pixel rear and 1.3 megapixel front cameras. The machine under the hood is expected to be a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8226 processor with Adreno 305 GPU.

LG Google New Nexus 5 coming in Mobile Market on October 14

There is a buzz again in the market that Google Nexus 5 may hit the market on October 14. Ausdroid is a tech site which has hinted that this Google smartphone may launch in the month of October. It is also expected that Nexus 5 will be powered by Android KitKat operating system, the name which is a replacement of Jelly Bean.
Earlier there were rumors regarding the leaks of Nexus 7 as well so the company has always been a hot topic of leaking the information of its products. There were already the full details available before the tablet was officially launched.
So again this new Nexus device is at the same condition. Its video was seen with the information about KitKat 4.4 operating system. The company may announce its commercial launching in the month of November. So there are chances about LG Google Nexus 5 to be announced in October and release is possible in November.

Nokia presents Lumia 1020 in Stores from October 11

Much awaited Nokia smartphone Lumia 1020 with 41 megapixel camera is finally available in the Indian market. It is expected to be available for the distributers and the retailers from October 11, 2013. The company will disclose its price just before a day of launching i.e. October 10.

Earlier the Finnish company had announced the phone in July in an event held in New York but now it will be available from October 11. Its size is almost similar to the other family members Lumia 925 and Lumia 920.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 3 in India for Rs. 49,900, and it will hit Indian retail shelves by September 25.
The South Korean major officially unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 phablet at the sidelines of IFA 2013 in Berlin.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, but weighing at 168g and 8.33m wide, is both lighter and slimmer than its predecessor.
The Galaxy Note 3 is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core processor and a 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside 2-megapixel front camera. It is powered by 3,200mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants, with the company doing away with the 16GB variant after controversy on the available storage with the Samsung Galaxy S4. Both variants come with support for up to 64GB of additional external storage.
Connectivity options on the Note 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0. It comes with various sensors like Gesture, Accelerometer, Geo-magnetic, Gyroscope, Proximity, Barometer, Temperature & Humidity, and Hall Sensor. The company has also added features like the My Magazine, Scrapbook, Wake-up Command, S Finder, Advanced Multi Window, Samsung Smart Switch and Action Memo.......

iPhone 5c price disappointment: 'Cheaper iPhone' fails to check-in


Apple unveiled two new iPhones at a special event held at its Cupertino headquarters on Tuesday. It announced iPhone 5s, successor to the iPhone 5, which comes with a lot of new features like a brand new A7 processor, the first 64-bit chip inside a smartphone, improved camera, and, the highlight of the device, a fingerprint-scanner called Touch ID.
Apple also unveiled iPhone 5c, which was widely anticipated to be the low-cost iPhone, but it turned out to be a big disappointment on that aspect. While the iPhone 5c boasts impressive hardware specifications and comes in a wide variety of colours, the key criteria for this iPhone was always going to be the price, and this is where it disappoints.
The iPhone 5c was supposed to be Apple's weapon to take on Android in at least the mid-level smartphone segment, if an entry-level pricing was never going to come to fruition. However, one look at the off-contract pricing for the iPhone 5s in various regions, and all those hopes can be put to rest.
The entry-level 16GB iPhone 5c without a contract has been priced at $549 in the US. That comes out to a whopping Rs. 35,000 at current exchange rates (1 USD = 63.65 INR) and does not include the duties and other charges that come in while pricing a product in India. If you were hoping for a sub-Rs. 25,000 pricing for the iPhone 5c in India, it's safe to say we won't see anything like that.
The pricing in other regions is even worse, with the iPhone 5c priced at 599 euros (approximately Rs. 50,500) in Germany and 469 pounds in the UK (approximately Rs. 47,000). Of course both those prices include VAT, which can be sizeable. Pricing in Hong Kong is HKD 4,688 (approximately Rs. 38,500). However, it's the pricing in China, one of two "emerging markets" - the other being India - that the iPhone 5c was said to be targeting that is really surprising. The iPhone 5c price in China is 4488 Chinese Yuan Renminbi, which works out to over Rs. 46,500, without duties or any other charges.
With just a $100 price difference between the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s, it's a little difficult to fathom why the iPhone 5c even exists. The iPhone 5c surely won't help Apple penetrate into any newer markets, and its only selling point seems to the number of colours it's available in.
It seems Apple is not willing to shed its 'premium' tag just yet, and that, more than anything else from Tuesday's event. will surely disappoint millions who were hoping to see Apple in a more 'affordable' avatar.

LG has announced the launch of its brand-new flagship device, the LG G2.
LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920) display impressive 423 pixels-per-inch (PPI). It is powered by Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor capable of speeds up to 2.26GHz. The device comes with 2GB RAM and offers 16GB and 32GB storage options.
The LG G2 comes with a 13.0-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 2.1-megapixel front shooter. LG's latest flagship runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. LG G2 sports dimensions 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm and will be available in Black and White colour options.
The LG G2 will be rolled out in over 130 wireless carriers in the next eight weeks starting in South Korea followed by North America, Europe and other key markets.
LG G2 coms with a unique design that features the power buttons and the volume rocker at the back of the phone, below the rear camera, instead of the sides of the phone, as is usually the case. LG believes this will work better on a large phone like the G2. It also comes with bezels as thin as 2.65mm.

LG G2 also comes with some software features like Answer Me, Plug & Pop, Text Link, Slide Aside, and a Guest Mode. Answer Me automatically answers the call after lowering the ringtone when the phone is raised to one's ear. Plug & Pop recommends options or related features to choose from when the earphone or USB cable is detected. Text Link allows information embedded in text messages to be selected and easily saved in a memo or calendar and searched on a map or the Internet.
Slide Aside enables easier multi-tasking by simply "sliding" open apps off to the side using a three-finger swipe. Guest Mode is designed to protects owner's privacy by displaying only pre-selected apps when guests access the phone with a secondary unlock pattern.

REUTERS - Motorola's "Moto X", the cellphone maker's first flagship device since Google bought the company in 2012, stands out in a crowded market due to its customizable colors and materials, yet stops short of being an "iPhone killer," reviewers said.

The highly anticipated Moto X is Motorola's latest attempt to break into a smartphone market dominated by Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics .
Reviews published in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times newspapers late Tuesday praised the phone's customizable colors and materials, but said its other features were not game changing.
Walter Mossberg wrote in the Wall Street Journal that "Moto X is an innovative phone, not a revolutionary one. But it may point toward a more revolutionary future."
Mossberg highlighted that unlike other phones Moto X is always listening for voice input without the need to activate a command.
"But I wouldn't call the Moto X a game-changer, like the original iPhone was in 2007," he wrote. (http://link.reuters.com/gyb32v)
Motorola, whose share of the mobile phone market has fallen to less than 2 percent, is betting that it can win over consumers by offering a huge palette of colors to personalize their phones as well as unusual phone materials such as wood.
AT&T Inc T.N, the No. 2 U.S. mobile service provider, will have exclusive rights to let its customers customize the phone from a selection of 18 colors for the back, two colors for the front and seven accent colors for an undisclosed time period.
Katherine Boehret wrote in a second review on the Journal that "Moto X stands out in a sea of phone sameness", praising the phone's customizable options.
Reviewing for the New York Times, David Pogue noted how Moto X detects that the user is in motion while in driving mode.
